Andrew has loved travelling the world and meeting people since a young age. With over 650,000 km of worldwide travel and over 190 cities under his belt, Andrew has a deep passion for meeting people and learning from others. The love of connection and forming relationships was instilled through teamwork from playing basketball, through competing and coaching at a high level in England and Australia.
Following his passion of wanting to help others create a path and to support them in their own unique and authentic journey, Andrew soon found himself as an educator in Australia. He is truly passionate about inspiring people to lead with a purpose and to help them understand their full potential, whatever the position they may hold.
Now, for Andrew the journey to find his ‘purpose’ and ‘why’ has never been so clear. Recovering from negative experiences in the work place along with the learnings from them has ignited the motivation to inspire leaders to help create positive work place environments where people can be their authentic selves. Andrew is truly passionate about people going to work inspired by those that lead them.
Professionally, he continues to teach in primary schools across Melbourne whilst establishing the ‘Nurturing Leadership’ company. The ‘Nurturing Leadership’ brand is dedicated to delivering leadership programs to aspiring and experienced leaders. The book you hold in front of you is the beginning of the journey both Mike and Andrew embarked on in late 2021.
Andrew continues to love the game of basketball and enjoys coaching his son. Melbourne is now the home of Andrew and his family, where they love to walk on the beach or in the bush surrounding the world renowned ‘Great Ocean Road.’
